2K Sports Returns to Pro Football!!

2K sports recently rocked the video game industry with the announcement that it is returning to the gridiron with a new football game: All-Pro Football 2K8 (view the full story on www.2ksports.com). However, since EA Sports still has the NFL license, we can only assume that the game will consist of fictitious teams and players. Still, this exciting news couldn't come at a better time! The quality of EA's Madden Franchise has been on a steady decline in recent years, and many believe that the lack of a solid competitor is the reason. 2K Sports last football game, NFL 2K5, was the biggest threat to the Madden crown and was, arguably, better than Madden 2005 in certain areas. Will the absence of the NFL License hurt 2K's new game or will the critically acclaimed gameplay that the 2K brand is known for allow us to overlook the missing NFL players and teams? We'll see when the game rolls out later this Summer! If you hear anything new on this, be sure to let the Taygo community know in our forums!
